I'm amazed so many people are bothered that they didn't get a hat or antlers, it's not like everyone who has one has an advantage over everyone else.

They don't do anything just look different.

lmao, people talking about their maturity and age and then whiting about not getting a yule cap. grow up, seriously. it's not such a big deal.

you still got the chance to admire wonderful holiday decorations and activities, to collect candy cane weapons and so on. not getting a hat is not a good enough reason to obsess and cry over this.

fyi, I've met new year on work as well, and yet still I got them hats and antlers. the trick here is called remote desktop.

That's the part that I agree with. If it weren't for the Halloween event I would have had no idea what the times for this one were and if I didn't read forums too much I probably would have missed both of them (especially since most the people in Lion's Arch couldn't even get their time zones right, let alone figure out when the event is).

I cannot understand why they couldn't just change the NPC on Dec 31st to say "2 more hours until the gods arrive!" or something to that effect. How hard would that be? Did they learn nothing from the Halloween event?

As much as I know the community loves reading people's gripes and misfortunes concerning the Wintersday event, this is the suggestion forum, where people can lay out suggestions to improve the game. This is not the place for people to talk about how pissed they are, or what they think of Anet.
